NClear Inc., an innovator in water treatment technology, has completed the acquisition of Electrichlor LLC, a leading producer of advanced hypochlorite generators serving the marine, water remediation and power generation industries. The joining of Electrichlor with NClear expands the company’s portfolio of innovative water treatment products. Electrichlor, founded in 2001, has patented electrochemical cell designs that lead to extremely efficient systems that are in use around the world in various applications.
Electrichlor is led by Dr. Kent Henry, who will continue as President of Electrichlor in addition to assuming the role of Chief Technology Officer of NClear. Dr. Henry earned his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and Physical Chemistry from Cornell University, and will be instrumental in the future development of NClear’s products, including its patented TPX™ nanocrystal technology.
