NClear awarded surface water remediation contract by Kemron Environmental Services

NClear Inc. has been awarded a Contract Service Agreement by Kemron Environmental Services (Atlanta) for the design, construction, and operation of a wastewater treatment plant at the site of the former Agri-Cycle facility located in Talmo, GA. Through NClear’s Integrated Services Division, a robust treatment solution has been developed by incorporating the company’s nutrient treatment solutions, including the patented TPX™ nanocrystal technology for phosphorus reduction, as well as the exclusive ElectrX™ electrochemical cell technology for ammonia reduction. The Agri-Cycle site includes a series of ponds totaling more than 15 million gallons of highly contaminated water that will be treated and discharged. NClear proved its technology by deploying its pilot treatment system to the Agri-Cycle facility in 2019 and successfully met the discharge requirements for three onsite ponds. This project, which is funded by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, represents a tremendous opportunity to showcase NClear’s capabilities, while also providing the citizens of Jackson County and the state of Georgia the only economical solution to a long-standing hazardous wastewater problem.
